Sochi authorities promise to punish residents for resisting court marshals

The authorities of Sochi promise to bring the residents of the Imereti Valley, who put up resistance to court marshals on July 22, when the latter arrived to draw up the cadastre of these land plots.

According to the "Interfax", Sochi Mayor Vladimir Afanasenkov has explained that under preparation for the 2014 Olympiad, specialists were instructed to draw up a cadastre of the land plots belonging to the residents of the Imereti Valley. For this purpose, under court decision court marshals were engaged. "However, the residents have hampered free access of court marshals to their land plots. They used gas bottles and defeat weapons," the Mayor said.

Meanwhile, the Business FM quotes a local resident Natalia Trudnikova who asserts that namely the court marshals acted illegally. As she said, the court marshals used gas in bottles and attacked people.

We remind you that in Sochi residents of one of the houses situated in the Imereti Valley and planned for demolition to give room for Olympic objects did not let the appraisers to make cadastral measurements.

On July 21, the Adler District Court of Sochi passed a ruling obliging the residents of this house not to interfere with the land-cadastral works.

"I think that I'm the owner and have the right to let nobody in," said Dmitri Drofichev, owner of the house and leader of the community of Old Ritualists. As he said, the court ruling was passed without notification of the house owner.

The Old Ritualists are categorically against leaving their residence in the Imereti Bay, where Olympic objects are planned for construction; the believers have no faith in the Olympiad and think that during 6 years plans will change more than once.
