Administrative cases against "Voice of Beslan" closed

The Pravoberezhny District Court of North Ossetia has stopped the cases on administrative offences against the members of the All-Russian NGO "Voice of Beslan" Emiliya Bzarova and Svetlana Margieva, as Ella Kesaeva, co-chair of the organization, has informed today.

"Based on the violations revealed by the court at drawing up of administrative protocols, the members of the 'Voice of Beslan' demanded to stop the litigation," Ms Kesaeva, who herself had been accused of beating court marshals, has explained.

According to her story, the court has found the arguments of Beslan residents to be reasonable, and thus the proceedings against the members of the organization on the administrative case was stopped, the "Interfax" reports.

"The right to give explanations was not provided, the rights were not explained, the accused persons were not given a chance to read the protocol in due time. <...> Besides, two protocols were detected under the same date on the administrative offence allegedly committed by Ella Kesaeva, which confirmed the falsification of the case," runs the website of the NGO.
