Five persons accused of Cherkizovo marketplace explosion plead guilty

Five out of eight defendants in the case related to explosion in Moscow's Cherkizovo marketplace on August 21, 2006, where 11 persons were lost, have partially pled guilty. Advocate of one of them Arthur has announced it today.

The RIA "Novosti" quotes the lawyer who said: "Five figurants in the case have stated at trial today that they reject the qualification of their actions under the article of "terrorism" and the charge of committing their crimes as an organized criminal grouping."

At the same time, the advocate has added that three of them deny their guilt whatsoever.
