Yesterday, at the meeting, where the reasons of mass disorders in the city of Kondopoga were discussed, the head of Karelia declared resignation of Chairmen of the State Committee for National Policy and the State Committee for Local Self-Government Matters. Some of other members of the government were reprimanded, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
Today, it has also become known about appointment of a new Minister of Internal Affairs of Karelia and a new head of the Republic's FSB (Federal Security Bureau).
We remind you that the cause of disorders in the town of Kondopoga, Republic of Karelia, was a mass fight of local residents with natives from the Caucasus, during which two men were killed.
