Evkurov: 47 feuding families reconcile in Ingushetia

President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov has stated that 47 families, which were in the state of feud, reached reconciliation. According to the President, it brings hope for peace to be settled in the region.

"People in the state of feud need some impetus to understand how reconciliation is important," Mr Evkurov said, having noted that the Republic's authorities "could not expect such good result."

He has emphasized that the work is underway with quite plenty of families more, "and the information that arrives gives us hope for positive results," as the "Interfax" reports.

According to the President, many feudists themselves ask to reconcile them, which, as he said, gives hope for future peace and stability in the Republic.
