Armenia denies Seiran Oganyan's announcement into search by Interpol
Colonel Seiran Shakhsuvaryan, press secretary of the Ministry of Defence of Armenia, has rejected the information that the newly appointed Minister of Defence General-Colonel Seiran Oganyan had taken part in massacres of the Azerbaijani peaceful population in 1992 and was announced into search by the Interpol.
"We prefer not to make comments and not to respond to nonsense disseminated by Azerbaijan," Seiran Oganyan told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
The correspondent was told at the press service of the Police of the Republic of Armenia that there is a complicated procedure demanding serious justification for announcing this or that person into search by the Interpol.
"Azerbaijanis can say whatever they would, but the Interpol is a normal and responsible structure that moves very serious requirements for announcing someone into search," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the Police press service.
