Kaloev, resident of North Ossetia, has returned to Russia from Switzerland

Vitaly Kaloev, resident of North Ossetia who was serving a prison term in Switzerland for the murder of Peter Nilsen, Skyguide air carrier air traffic controller, and released before term, has returned to Moscow.

He has been met at the "Domodedovo" airport by relatives and journalists. Picketers who greeted Kaloev with posters "You are a real man" spread along the highway to Moscow for two kilometers, reports the RIA "Novosti".

At the airport, Kaloev thanked the Russian authorities and his compatriots for supporting him during his stay in prison.

Having arrived in Moscow, Vitaly Kaloev told the people who greeted him that he felt well and after returning to his motherland intended to visit the cemetery in Beslan and the grave of his children, reports "Echo of Moscow".
