Volgograd blogger Prokudin fined

The court has fined Pavel Prokudin, a Volgograd blogger, by 60,000 roubles under administrative charges of discrediting the Russian Army and petty hooliganism.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 24, the Tsentralny District Court of Volgograd placed Pavel Prokudin under arrest until June 18. Pavel was accused of inciting hatred and hostility towards Russian militaries. On May 19, he was accused of discrediting the Russian Army.

On April 19, it became known that Prokudin, who had spoken live on air about the participants in the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine, became a suspect in a criminal case. On April 22, he was detained; then, he asked for forgiveness and stated that he had been drunk.

Prokudin was punished with an administrative fine of 30,000 roubles under each of the above article, the "Vysota-102" (Height-102) outlet has informed.
