Volgograd blogger detained for insulting Russian militaries

Pavel Prokudin, a trash streamer from Volgograd, suspected of insulting fighters at the special military operation (SMO), has been detained in an apartment in Penza registered in someone else's name. He asked for forgiveness and explained that he was drunk.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Prokudin, who spoke live about the participants in the SMO in Ukraine, became a suspect within a criminal case on inciting hatred and enmity.

In June 2023, Prokudin apologized for insulting Muslims and residents of the Caucasus. He explained that his statements were provoked by insults towards the Russians and himself.

The "MVD-Media" outlet has posted a video of Prokudin's detention in its YouTube channel. Law enforcers threw him onto the carpet and handcuffed him, while Prokudin said that he "was drunk and didn't control his emotions." He has also apologized. "I apologize for hurting your feelings and offended you in some way. I was wrong," he has stated.

  • Compensation decrease for illegal prosecution violates rights of KBR resident

The court ruling, which awarded Madin Gubzhokov compensation of 30,000 roubles for unlawful criminal prosecution, is incomparable with the moral harm caused by the actions of Azamat Kyaov, a former law enforcer.
