Photo posted in social network results in fine imposed on Stavropol resident for discrediting Russian Army

A court in Stavropol has fined Mikhail Pugachov, a local resident, after he had posted several photos in the "Odnoklassniki" social network.

The protocol was considered by the Promyshlenny District Court of Stavropol, the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project has reported. The ruling states that Pugachov had posted several "photos aimed at discrediting the Russian Armed Forces."

Pugachov has stated that he had realized his mistake. The court has fined him by 40,000 roubles.

Let us remind you that in July this year, Valentina Starykh, a resident of Mineralnye Vody, was fined for discrediting the Russian Army. According to law enforcers, at the mobile operator's office, she gave a speech in support of Ukraine. However, the territorial court has noted that violations has been committed during the consideration of the case, and cancelled the fine imposed on Valentina.
