Krasnodar student expelled for criticizing SMO demands reinstatement at university

Nikita Raichuk, a student from Krasnodar, has demanded to be reinstated at the university from which he was expelled after criticizing the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine in social networks. The court refused, but the student has filed an appeal.

On June 28, 2023, it became known that the court rejected Raichuk's appeal against a fine imposed on him for discrediting the Russian Army.

Earlier, Raichuk went to court with a demand to recognize his expulsion as unfounded and demanded 13,890 roubles from the university for each month of delay in issuing him a diploma of higher education. The district court found that the Krasnodar resident was expelled justifiably.

According to investigators, Raichuk had placed a post in social networks in which he spoke critically about the SMO in Ukraine. At the same time, he accused members of the university's ethics commission of "mixing politics and education."

Let us remind you that Raichuk was earlier fined for discrediting Russian militaries.
