Kadyrov posts video of his meeting with Zhuravel
At his meeting with Ramzan Kadyrov, Nikita Zhuravel announced his desire to convert to Islam, but the head of Chechnya has doubted his words, explaining that "the young man's eyes were looking somewhere in the wrong direction." Kadyrov called Nikita Zhuravel, whose trial is to begin in Chechnya, an agent of the Ukrainian Security Service and a provocateur.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 25, Kadyrov posted a video of his son beating up Nikita Zhuravel, a Volgograd resident, at the Chechen SIZO (pre-trial prison); Nikita was arrested within the case of burning down the Koran. Zhuravel was beaten up by Adam Kadyrov; and the head of Chechnya praised him for this act.
Now, in his Telegram channel, Ramzan Kadyrov posted a video of his meeting with Zhuravel, who stated that he was ready to convert to Islam, but Kadyrov did not believe in the sincerity of his intentions.
Kadyrov called Zhuravel a "vile desecrator," saying that he "had burned the Koran down not out of ignorance, but deliberately, wanting to insult Muslims and set confessions in Russia against each other."
"He is a pronounced provocateur and saboteur, whom the West wants to present as a champion of democracy and the freedom of speech," the head of Chechnya has noted.
