Kadyrov explains his visit to Moscow hospital as a visit to his uncle

Ramzan Kadyrov has released a video of his visit to a Moscow hospital. The leader of Chechnya has explained that his uncle is being treated there, while he himself “is alive and healthy.”

On September 18 and 19, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov refused to comment on the health state and information about the hospitalization of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. Dmitry Peskov also did not confirm the information about Ramzan Kadyrov’s meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Meanwhile, the media reported that the plane of the leader of Chechnya has been in Moscow since September 15.

On September 17, amid reports from sources about the Ramzan Kadyrov’s critical condition, a video was posted on his Telegram channel in which the leader of Chechnya was walking along an alley.

Ramzan Kadyrov wrote in his Telegram channel that the whole family “was very worried about our dear uncle Magomed Kadyrov.” According to the leader of Chechnya, his uncle is “already on the mend.” “During my work trip to Moscow, at the first opportunity I visited the Central Clinical Hospital,” wrote Ramzan Kadyrov.

The leader of Chechnya also commented on the information from sources about his alleged illness. “I’m alive and well, and I don’t understand at all why there should be a fuss even if I’m sick?” stated Ramzan Kadyrov in his message.

The Kremlin will find a person to replace Ramzan Kadyrov as the leader of Chechnya, human rights activist Oyub Titiev believes. The redistribution of power may lead to a conflict between the groups headed by Adam Delimkhanov, Magomed Daudov, and Abuzaid Vismuradov, suggests Ruslan Kutaev, the president of the Assembly of Caucasian Nations.

From the early 2019 to the middle of 2020, Ramzan Kadyrov was ill four times, and until 2019, no information about any ailments of the leader of Chechnya did reach the media, even at the level of rumours.
