Rostov woman fined for posting pacifist leaflets

In Rostov-on-Don, a court fined Yevgenia Ryabova 30,000 roubles for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces in the leaflets she distributed.

The Kirovsky District Court imposed a fine on the city resident under the article on discrediting the Russian Armed Forces, the “Kavkaz.Realii”* reported. According to the law enforcement bodies’ version, in June, Yevgenia Ryabova were posting pacifist leaflets, the content of which could create a “false opinion about the true goals” of the Russian militaries in Ukraine.

The “Caucasian Knot” has also reported that the police drew up a protocol on discrediting the Russian Armed Forces against the editor-in-chief of the “1Rnd” online publication. The reason for the protocol was an article reporting about leaflets against mobilization scattered in the centre of Rostov-on-Don.
