Trial of organizer of meeting in memory of Politkovskaya failed today
The trial of Andrei Nalyotov, organizer of the meeting in memory of murdered journalist Anna Politkovskaya will not take place today. Mr Nalyotov, an activist of the Committee of Anti-War Actions, himself told about it to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to Andrei Nalyotov, he was not summoned to the court and learnt about the would-be court session from the press. Wishing to appear at the court session, Andrei made telephone calls to all judicial districts of magistrate judges of the Tver District of Moscow, but all of them told him that they had no such administrative case in their proceedings.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told the same at three out of four magistrate judicial districts of the Tver District.
Employees of the Tver District Interior Department (OVD) of the capital, where the anti-war activist was detained and where the protocol on his offence was drawn up, told Nalyotov that no materials in his relation were sent to the court.
We remind you that earlier Mr Nalyotov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent with reference to publications in mass media that the trial was appointed for today on the case about the excess of the pre-declared number of participants of the meeting in memory of Anna Politkovskaya that was held on August 30 in the Novopushkinskiy Mini-Park of Moscow.
