Adler resident arrested for disobeying police
A court in the city of Adler has fined a local resident for discrediting the Russian Army and arrested him for 15 days. According to the police, he tried to destroy a metal structure bearing the letters "Z" and "V", and when law enforcers noticed him, he tried to escape and used foul language.
The court has arrested Andrei Klychnikov, the figurant, for 15 days and fined him by 30,000 roubles. According to the police, he destroyed a metal structure in the colours of the Saint George ribbon and the Russian flag with the letters "Z" and "V", the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project reports.
The court took into account Klychnikov's repentance and sentenced him to a rather small fine.
According to the second protocol on an administrative offense, during the detention, Klychnikov "disobeyed the lawful demand of a policeman": he failed to respond to remarks, tried to escape and used foul language. Klychnikov pleaded guilty, but the court took into account that he had earlier been brought to administrative responsibility and arrested him for 15 days, the court's website informs.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in December 2022, a court fined Natalia Snisar, a resident of Krasnodar, for her approving comment to the post in the Telegram about the arson of a banner with the letter "Z".
On March 4, 2023, administrative liability was introduced for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces, after which the resident of Russia began prosecuted under it. The Krasnodar Territory is among top ten Russian regions, where most such cases are initiated.
