Details of case against Ivan Alexeev from Rostov-on-Don, accused of discrediting Russian militaries, are known
Ivan Alexeev has been fined by 45,000 roubles for expressing his opinion about the actions of the Russian Army in Ukraine.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in December 2022, the court already fined Ivan Alexeev, a resident of Rostov-on-Don, finding him guilty of discrediting Russian militaries.
The Kirovsky District Court has reported that Alexeev, while in a public place, discussed the actions of Russian troops from Kherson, by which, according to investigators, he had publicly discredited the use of the Russian Armed Forces.
At the trial, Alexeev refused to plead guilty, stating that he supported the actions of Russian militaries. However, the court claimed that the fact of his offense was confirmed by policemen's reports, an application lodged by the leadership of the Southern Federal University, and by the explanations of three witnesses.
Let us remind you that on March 4, 2022, administrative liability was introduced in Russia for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces, after which residents of Russia, including those from the Rostov Region, began being prosecuted under this article.
