Analysts disclose motives for cooperation of Batal-Khadji community with Kadyrov
Cooperation with Ramzan Kadyrov in preparing detachments to be sent to Ukraine became an attempt for followers of Sheikh Batal-Khadji to “whitewash” against the background of the arrests of members of this vird (religious community, – note of the “Caucasian Knot”) and the disclosure by investigators of the murder of Ibragim Eldjarkiev, a political analyst and adviser to the leader of Ingushetia considered. At the same time, Ramzan Kadyrov wants to enlist the support of the Batal-Khadji community and train them in combat skills in case of danger to himself, suggests Musa Lomaev, a blogger opposed to the authorities of Chechnya.
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on December 12, it became known that in exchange for support from Ramzan Kadyrov, followers of Sheikh Batal-Khadji formed detachments to take part in the special military operation in Ukraine. The Batal-Khadji rapid reaction detachment became part of the “Akhmat” special forces and is already participating in the special military operation, the leader of Chechnya confirms.
The creation of a detachment in Chechnya from among the natives of Ingushetia is beneficial not only to Ramzan Kadyrov, who seeks to show his loyalty to the Russian President, realizing the dependence of his fate on Vladimir Putin, but also to the Batal-Khadji community, states Musa Abadiev, the leader of the Association of Muslims of Ingushetia.
The creation of a battalion is nothing more than a PR move and is unlikely to affect the political situation in Ingushetia, and even more so the events in Ukraine, Musa Abadiev believes.
Ramzan Kadyrov promised Vladimir Putin that he would regularly send detachments to Ukraine, and in connection with that, those who signed contracts arrive in Chechnya to participate in the special military operation in Ukraine, political analyst Ali Magamadov points out.
Meanwhile, the mobilization is very slow in Chechnya, so Ramzan Kadyrov ordered the elders of each vird to prepare their regiments and battalions under the name of the saint, who they consider the main one, and refers as an example to the Batal-Khadji community, who have already formed their detachments, Ali Magamadov believes.
Recently, members of the Batal-Khadji religious community have attracted the close attention of the law enforcement bodies, and some of the leaders of the community have been arrested and convicted. And now, “as if proving that, in spite of everything, they are the greatest patriots” and are ready to fight for Russia, they are going to Ukraine, the political analyst says.
The friendship with the followers of Sheikh Batal-Khadji was inherited by Ramzan Kadyrov from his father, blogger Musa Lomaev notes.
