Amid mobilization, interest of Chechen companies in women's CVs has grown

In late September, Chechen companies began inviting women to interviews by 11% more often than earlier in the month, the "HeadHunter" group of companies has informed. Instagram* users have attributed this dynamics to men's mobilization.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in January-August, 2022, the "Chechenstat" recorded a sharp increase in the number of those who leave Chechnya for abroad: during this period, 948 people left the republic, while in the same period in 2021, there were 325 such people. Official figures are underestimated, as amid the military operation in Ukraine, the number of those who left the republic is many times higher, Caucasian experts have suggested.

The "HeadHunter" group of companies has told the "Grozny-Inform" Agency that in Russia as a whole, compared to the first week of September, employers began inviting women to interviews by 3% more often. The share of women's CVs that interested recruiters in the country increased from 59% to 62%, while the share of men's CVs decreased from 41% to 38%.

This trend is most noticeable in the spheres of "insurance" (women were invited to interviews by 9% more often), "security" (6%), as well as "sports, fitness, beauty" and "administrative personnel" (5%).

In Chechnya, by the end of September, 65% of all invitations to interviews were for women; and 35% for men. At the beginning of the month, this proportion was 54% and 46% accordingly.
