Kizilyurt authorities inform about death of fellow countryman in Ukraine

Senior Sergeant Batyr Abdulmuslimov from Kizilyurt has perished in Ukraine, the administration of the city district has informed. Since the start of the special operation in Ukraine, the deaths of at least 83 natives of Dagestan have been officially confirmed.

Senior Sergeant Batyr Abdulmuslimov has perished in the special operation in Ukraine, the Kizilyurt Mayoralty announced on April 15. Batyr had served since 2015 in the operative brigade of the "Rosgvardiya" (Russian National Guard) as the commander of the technical maintenance department-master of the platoon of material and technical support of the battalion in the rank of senior sergeant; he took part in the operation in Syria, say the message posted on the website of the Mayoralty.

Batyr Abdulmuslimov was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage. The issue of awarding his name to one of the city streets is being decided, the message says.

Since the start of the special operation in Ukraine, authorities have reported the deaths of at least 83 natives of Dagestan, the "Caucasian Knot" has calculated.
