Kadyrov calls on Chechen law enforcers to die on the path of jihad

To die on the path of the Almighty is an honour for every Muslim, Ramzan Kadyrov has declared to Chechen law enforcers in connection with the special operation in Ukraine.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 26, Ramzan Kadyrov announced that Chechen fighters had gone to Ukraine to perform Vladimir Putin's orders and protect the Ukrainian people. On February 28, the Mufti of Chechnya, Salakh Mezhiev, declared that the Chechen fighters who had left for Ukraine "went to jihad" and were fighting for the sake of Allah.

On March 29, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, addressed Chechen law enforcers during a gathering in Grozny, where they discussed the special operation in Ukraine. "We all dream of dying on the path of jihad. (...) We see every day how young guys die on roads or in other circumstances; and dying on the path of the Almighty is the dream of every Muslim. Therefore, I declare that we must complete what we have started, and not to stop," The "Chechnya Today" has quoted Kadyrov as saying.

Speaking about the special operation, Kadyrov has also stated that he was proud of the Chechen law enforcers, who are "ready to defend the religion of Islam," the report says.
