Yerevan responds to Baku’s accusations of shelling attacks

When commenting on the accusation of Azerbaijan in a shelling attack, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Armenia declared that “indiscriminate” fire near the border with the Tovuz District came from the Azerbaijani side, and the Armenian military forces did not react to it.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan announced that on January 27, the Armenian military forces shelled the positions of the Azerbaijani army near the border with the Tovuz District.

The Armenian MoD called those reports disinformation.

Let us remind you that Armenia and Azerbaijan regularly exchange accusations of shelling attacks. So, on January 11, the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan reported about the death of a military man in the Kelbadjar District as a result of a shelling attack from Armenia. The MoD of Armenia accused Azerbaijan of shelling attacks and reported about three killed soldiers.
