Bodies of three servicemen found in Nagorno-Karabakh
In Fizuli, Karabakh rescuers found remains of three military servicemen, bringing the total number of bodies and remains found in the battle zone up to 1583, the Emergency Service of Nagorno-Karabakh has informed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 18, Karabakh rescuers announced that in the Martuni District they had found remains of three servicemen; and on June 20 they reported that they had found remains of another serviceman in Fizuli.
While searching for bodies of those who perished in the hostilities in the vicinity of Varanda (the Azerbaijani name is Fizuli, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"), rescuers found remains of three persons, the Emergency Service of Nagorno-Karabakh reported on June 21 on its Facebook page.
According to preliminary data, the remains belong to participants in the hostilities. To identify the remains, a forensic medical examination will be conducted in Armenia. "Since November 13, 2020, to June 21, 2021, [in the conflict zone] 1583 bodies were found and evacuated; 27 of them, according to preliminary data, were civilians," the Emergency Service has added.
