Peacemakers escort column with humanitarian aid to Martuni District

The essentials, medical equipment and a set of textbooks and literature for the local school have been brought with peacemakers' help to the Tagavard village of the Martuni District, the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Russian peacemakers systematically ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to Nagorno-Karabakh. Thus, on March 27, they reported on the delivery of essential items to the village of Noragyukh; and on March 28, they escorted trucks to Martuni District that delivered medical equipment, food and essential goods.

Accompanied by peacemakers, a humanitarian cargo from the Russian Humanitarian Mission has arrived in the Tagavard village of the Martuni District (the Azerbaijani name is Khodjavend, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"), the Russian MoD has reported on its website today.

The peacemakers have handed over folding beds, blankets, pillows, gas burners for cooking and other necessities to villagers, the information says. "Apart from helping families, a set of primary diagnostic tools was transferred to the village feldsher's station; and the local school received a set of fiction literature and textbooks," the website has reported.
