"Sobesednik": winter "Putin's residence" in Krasnaya Polyana amazes with luxury

The chalet "Achipse", which is believed to be Putin's residence, includes a personal cable car and a helipad. The residence itself is adorned with copies of medieval tapestries made by hand in Italy, gilded vases worth 187,000 roubles each and other luxury items from a trading house that has been a supplier to the Russian Imperial Court for 400 years, says the publication of the edition "Sobesednik" (Interlocutor).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in January, the Anti-Corruption Foundation (ACF, recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"), released an investigation entitled "A Palace for Putin" on the construction on Cape Idokopas near Gelendzhik of the largest private house in Russia with the area exceeding 17,000 square metres.

The "Achipse" residence near the Krasnaya Polyana Resort, which during construction was referenced as the "house for receiving official guests", is visited from time to time by President Vladimir Putin, says Oleg Roldugin's article "Winter Palace for Putin", published on March 18 in the "Sobesednik": in the "Achipse" residence "one can find a grand piano, like at the tsar's, and garbage bins for 76,000 roubles each."

The chalet is registered as the "Gazprom" property; according to the information from the state contracts, the "Gazprom Sotsinvest" is maintaining the building; however, "even 'Gazprom' found it difficult to tell the 'Sobesednik' who else from 'official guests', apart from Putin, relaxes [there] from state worries," says the article.
