Advocate who defended Budanov has entered the Khudyakov and Arakcheev trial

Today, the North Caucasian Regional Military Court has resumed the process on internal troops officers Evgeniy Khudyakov and Sergey Arakcheev accused of murdering Chechnya residents.

The Military Collegium of the Supreme Court, having studied the materials of the case, has come to a conclusion that there are no sufficient grounds to keep Khudyakov and Arakcheev in custody. In the courtroom of the District Court Evgeniy Khudyakov and Sergey Arakcheev have signed papers on appointment to them a restriction measure as a signature not to leave.

After that, Sergey Arakcheev lodged a petition to refuse the services of lawyer Kirilenko and to introduce lawyer Alexei Dulimov. Mr. Dulimov was defence of colonel Yuri Budanov convicted for murder of a Chechen girl. Lawyer Dulimov was admitted to the process, but the Court has also decided to appoint lawyer Kirilenko as Arakcheev's defence and refused to grant time to Dulimov for studying the case files (they make 23 volumes in total).
