Two Azerbaijani officers and three soldiers blown up on a mine

Two officers and three soldiers were hospitalized in severe condition after a mine explosion in the Tartar District. Since November 10, 2020, the total number of Azerbaijani residents blown up on mines has reached 74, the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the number of cases when civilians are blown up on mines grows, despite the authorities' ban on visiting the conflict zone.

In 2020, six persons were killed and eight others were injured, when mines detonated in Azerbaijan and the conflict zone, the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) reported. Mine clearance after the combat actions in Karabakh may take a year.

The General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan reminded residents of the punishment for visiting places of the combat actions in the conflict zone without permission.

Let us remind you that according to analyst Khalid Agaliev, internally displaced persons (IDPs) enter the battle zone in Karabakh out of a desire to visit their small homeland.
