Opposition continues protesting in Yerevan
Several dozen protesters stay in Republic Square in central Yerevan, the capital of Armenia; activists spent the night in tents and are waiting for the start of the rally in the afternoon.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 22, oppositionists went out to a protest action in the above square, demanding Nikol Pashinyan's resignation. After protesters tried to set up a tent camp, a scuffle broke out of them with law enforcers.
Several tents have been set up in the square along with some stoves, the "Panorama.am" has reported today.
The "Sputnik Armenia" has published a video clip showing the square in central Yerevan. Judging by the footage of the video, several dozen activists are present there.
A rally is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. today; and prior to this, oppositionists intend to hold actions of civil disobedience throughout the republic.
