The prosecutor's office has not enforced any decisions on Baisarov's case

The Moscow prosecutor's office has refuted the information that it has recognized lawful the actions of Chechen militiamen in the course of operation aimed to detain Movladi Baisarov, former commander of the "Gorets" (Mountaineer) squadron; in the course of the operation on November 18 he was shot dead, the press service of the Moscow prosecutor's office reported. A lady representing the prosecutor's office reminded that within the criminal case, initiated under Articles 105 and 222, a number of examinations had been appointed, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

The response of the prosecutor's office was a reaction to the news of the "Commersant" paper that the prosecutor's office of the South District of Moscow made a decision to stop criminal prosecution of Chechen militiamen for the special operation against Baisarov.

It has become known to the "Commersant" that the investigation has concluded the lawful use of firearms by Sultan Rashaev, deputy commander of the non-governmental security regiment and head of bodyguards of Adam Delimkhanov, vice-premier of Chechnya. However, the second person who shot the "Gorets" commander was never established, the "Gazeta.Ru" informs.

One of high-ranked officers of the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs has asserted that the aim of the operation was to capture Baisarov alive and bring him to Chechnya.
