Social network users note authenticity of video about Chechens sent to Nagorno-Karabakh

A video about natives of Chechnya being sent to the Karabakh conflict zone is fake, some Instagram users believe. Meanwhile, in their comments, other network users argue for the authenticity of the video.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that amid the aggravation of the Karabakh conflict, Elkhan Suleimanov, Chechen Minister for Public Health, posted on Instagram a message in support of Azerbaijan.

Instagram users disagree concerning the authenticity of the video, the footage of which allegedly shows the sending of the Chechen natives to Nagorno-Karabakh. Some of the network users claimed the video was authentic. Others considered that a voice on the record was fake. And some more users wrote in their comments that the video was shot not in Nagorno-Karabakh, but in Crimea.

"How can a true Chechen native fight for Azerbaijan? This is not their war and not their problems, to sacrifice their lives in vain," believes user konortop758.

A week ago, in addition to the report about the fake video, the public account "ChP Chechnya" also posted messages about Ramzan Kadyrov's nomination for an international award, about the awarding a medal to a wounded policeman, about the Ramzan Kadyrov's criticism of Alexei Navalny, as well as the information broadcasting messages from the authorities, for example, about a power outage and about raids of law enforcers. Meanwhile, the public account contains almost no criticism of the Chechen authorities.
