Two weeks of searching for brothers disappeared in Ingushetia bring no results
The Ingush police did not succeed in a search for Khamzat and Ilez Dzeitov brothers, who were put on the wanted list after their arrival to the republic on February 27. Nothing in the brothers' behaviour would confirm the version that they had been allegedly recruited by militants, notes a father of the Dzeitov brothers.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 26, Chechen natives 21-year-old Khamzat and 17-year-old Ilez Dzeitov left Novosibirsk for Ingushetia. A driver who drove them to the city of Nazran said that they left his car on the Ekazhevo circle on February 27.
Timur Dzeitov, the father of the disappeared brothers, explains that Khamzat and Ilez live and study in Novosibirsk, and for the recent time, they visited Ingushetia in the period from December to January. The father of the disappeared young men said that the version about the alleged recruitment of the brothers by militants was voiced by law enforcers. "After they had disappeared, we learned that they were visiting a Salafi mosque," Timur Dzeitov added.
