NKR accuses Azerbaijan of 130 shelling attacks during week

Since December 1, Azerbaijani soldiers fired more than a thousand shots at positions of the Defence Army, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) informed on December 7.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 24-30, the NKR counted 220 cases of ceasefire violation by the Azerbaijani party.

Over the past week, the Azerbaijani party violated the ceasefire for 130 times by firing over 1000 shots from small arms, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has quoted the statement of the MoD of the NKR.

"The Defence Army units observed the ceasefire regime," the MoD has emphasized.

By 4:03 p.m. Moscow time on December 7, the Azerbaijani MoD had not commented on the above statement on its website. Moreover, according to the estimates of the "Caucasian Knot", on December 1-7, Azerbaijan counted a total of 154 shelling attacks on its positions in the Karabakh conflict zone and on the border with Armenia. Only over the past 24 hours, there have been 24 such cases, the Azerbaijani MoD has claimed.
