Two residents of Georgia detained on border with South Ossetia
Shepherds Zurab Tukhiashvili and Ramaz Zardishvili were detained on the border by Russian border guards, the State Security Service of Georgia reported.
According to the Georgian State Security Service, two shepherds from the village of Kodisttskaro were detained when they were near the border with South Ossetia.
The border guards brought Zurab Tukhiashvili and Ramaz Zardishvili to South Ossetia, and the shepherds were accused of illegally crossing the border, the "Georgian Public Broadcasting" (GPB) reports with reference to the State Security Service of Georgia. One of the detainees managed to call his family members and tell them about what had happened.
The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on November 6, Zakro Butkhuzi, a resident of the Gori District of Georgia, was detained on the border territory. In Tskhinvali, a court fined the man, and after that he returned to Georgia.
