Chechen propaganda makes blunder by interference in dispute between Tumso and Kadyrov
Calls for employees of the "Grozny" ChGTRK (Chechen State TV and Radio Company) to vote for the Ramzan Kadyrov's refusal to hold a public discussion with Tumso Abdurakhmanov exacerbated the sensitive situation which the leader of Chechnya faced after a call for a dispute, notes political analyst Ruslan Kutaev.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 15, the blogger, Tumso Abdurakhmanov, invited Kadyrov to dispute on the historical role of Akhmat Kadyrov, warning him that he would ask "uncomfortable questions."
"It's very easy to sit 150 Jordan Chechens in front of you, since they won't contradict and ask uneasy questions. If you can prove [your rightness] to anyone, then try to prove it to me," Tumso Abdurakhmanov has addressed the head of Chechnya in his live broadcast, the record of which was posted on the blogger's YouTube channel.
On August 20, in his Telegram channel "Ask Rasul", Dagestani blogger Rasul Asad posted a screenshot from a private chat for employees of the "Grozny" ChGTRK.
"It shows how a user called Nizam calls on the employees of the 'Grozny' ChGTRK to vote for the second item in the questioning conducted by the 'Caucasian Knot'," the blogger commented on the published screenshot.
An invitation to the voting "Is there any need for a dispute between Kadyrov and Abdurakhmanov?" was posted on the "Caucasian Knot" Telegram channel on August 20. The second point in the survey was the statement reading: "To accept challenges from bloggers is not the level of the leader of Chechnya", and 52% of the participants voted for it, according to the results of the survey. The point "I am waiting for such a dispute" gained 46%, while the item "To argue with Kadyrov about his father is unethical, and the discussion will touch upon topics that are too early to be raised" was supported by 2% of the voters. The anonymous survey involved 9487 users.
By calling for a dispute, Tumso Abdurakhmanov put Ramzan Kadyrov in a "delicate situation," believes political analyst Ruslan Kutaev, the chairman of the "Assembly of the Peoples of the Caucasus."
According to the political analyst, it was people from the environment of the leader of Chechnya who, in order to resolve that difficult situation, initiated calls for the leader of the republic not to enter into discussion with the blogger and referred to inappropriate status of the opponent.
Ruslan Kutaev believes that a "people's voting" initiated by Chechen officials could render a "disservice" to the leader of Chechnya, since there may be suspicions that Ramzan Kadyrov is afraid of a discussion with Tumso Abdurakhmanov. "It would be better for them not to take any action," said Ruslan Kutaev.
