Martin Kochesoko transferred under house arrest

The Supreme Court (SC) of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) has decided to transfer Martin Kochesoko, the head of the Circassian NGO "Khabze", accused of drug dealing, under house arrest.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Martin Kochesoko was detained on June 7 in Nalchik. On June 13, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) announced that he had pled guilty to the acquisition and possession of drugs. On the following day, a law enforcement source reported that Kochesoko was forced to confess under law enforcers' pressure.

"Martin Kochesoko has been placed under house arrest," says a message received by the SMS-service of the "Caucasian Knot" today.

This information was confirmed by Aslan Beshto, who was present in the courtroom, says the today's publication in the Telegram channel of the "MBKh Media".
