Social network users criticize Kadyrov for threats to commentators

The words of Ramzan Kadyrov, who promised to "break fingers and tear out the tongue" of authors of offensive comments, are inadmissible for the head of the region, social network users have noted. They indicate that residents of Chechnya write a lot of insulting messages to Dagestanis in connection with Chechen road signposts.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 10, a video appeared on the Internet of demolition of a sign with the inscription "Shelkovskoy District" installed in the outskirt of Kizlyar. On June 11, residents of Kizlyar gathered for a rally at one of the Chechen signposts; 19 people were detained.

Commentators in the "Criminal Russia" community on the Facebook were outraged at Kadyrov's threat to break fingers. "Isn't criminal liability envisaged for such frank threats, moreover, voiced out by a high-ranking state servant?" Maria Solovyenko has asked. "It's the 21st century now; the republic's head pronounces direct threats," Nikolai Nosenko has noted.

"Ramzan, by what law will you visit homes and punish people for insults? There is nothing of the kind in the Russian or Sharia law," the user Ahmad-Shah Massoud-1 has written in his comment on the page of the "Chernovik" weekly on the Facebook.
