Father of schoolboy killed in Georgia felt bad during conflict with policemen

Policemen did not allow the participants of the "Don't kill!" action, who demand resignation of the Georgian government, to set up tents in the central Tbilisi avenue. The initiator of the action Zaza Saralidze fainted and was taken away by an ambulance.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 10 the action "Don't kill – together on guard of justice" was held in front of the building of the Georgian parliament. Zaza Saralidze, who, like other participants in the rally, demanded the govt's resignation, went on a hunger strike.

Today, the protesters tried to set up tents in front of the parliament building to hide from the rain, but policemen forbade them to do it. During the conflict, Zaza Saralidze, the father of one of the murdered teens, lost consciousness. An ambulance was called to him, but Saralidze came to himself before the doctors arrived, and went to the policemen, repeating his question: "Who killed my son?"

The ambulance took him to the hospital, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

The protests in Tbilisi related to the murder of two schoolboys began on May 31. Protesters said that investigators tried to shelter the murderers. The Parliament of Georgia had set up an interim inquiry commission; and protests were suspended. However, since September 10, they resumed, since Zaza Saralidze was not satisfied with the commission's conclusions.
