Azerbaijan states 75 machine-gun attacks during last 24 hours

During the last 24 hours the ceasefire regime on the troops contact line was violated for 75 times, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 7, the MoD of Azerbaijan counted 91 shelling episodes from the Armenian side. In its turn, the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh, which is also regularly stating ceasefire violations by the Azeri opponents, announced 150 acts shelling undertaken during the week from August 26 to September 1.

The attacks from large-calibre machine guns were undertaken on the positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed in the villages of Gushchu Airym, Ashagy Askipara and Mezem and on the nameless heights in the Gazakh District, as well as on the nameless heights in the Gedabek District. Azerbaijani villages were shelled both from the territory of Armenia and from the territories that Azerbaijan considers occupied, the Azerbaijani MoD has noted.
