Nagorno-Karabakh MoD claims attack of Azerbaijani troops

15 Azerbaijani soldiers tried to attack the positions of the Nagorno-Karabakh army, stated the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Nagorno-Karabakh. The Azerbaijani armed forces deny the information.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, Azerbaijan has claimed that its positions in four villages in the conflict zone had been shelled. The Ministries of Defence for Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh did not comment on the statement of the Azerbaijani side.

Today, the Ministry of Defence for Nagorno-Karabakh has reported that at night, Azerbaijani soldiers tried to attack one of the sectors in the northern part of the contact line. However, soldiers of the Nagorno-Karabakh army were able to repel the enemy's attack in time and without losses and throw him back to the starting positions, reported the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD.

"During the following shootout, the Defence Army of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) has not suffered any losses. The information on the enemy's losses is to be clarified," reported the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD's press service.

The Azerbaijani MoD has announced that the information about the attack was false.
