Residents of two Dagestan villages voted in advance at presidential election
The early voting for the presidential candidates took place in the villages of Khushet, Tsumada District, and Ostrov Chechen, Kirov District of Makhachkala; the voting passed without violations, the Central Election Commission (CEC) has stated.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that presidential election in Russia will take place on March 18. On January 28, Russian cities, including Makhachkala, held "Voters' Strike" actions.
The above voting passed with high voters' activity, the CEC of Dagestan has reported. The outcomes will be announced on March 18.
Ostrov Chechen has 87 voters, Khushet – 440 ones, the "Novoe Delo" writes.
The chairs of the precinct election commissions (PECs) had to walk for 20 km along snow-covered slopes and crossed the strait in order to deliver ballots to the mountain village and the island, said Magomed Dibirov, the CEC Chairman.
