Makhachkala resident reports his son missing

A resident of Makhachkala has reported disappearance of his son Azamat Aliev, who sent him message that he had been detained by policemen.

This morning, Azamat Aliev left for work, and at 2:00 p.m., a message arrived from his phone that he had been taken to the police station, and a grenade was planted on him, Ruslan Aliev, his father has reported. "My son wasn't on the prophylactic registry; he had had no conflicts with the police before," he said.

According to Ruslan Aliev, relatives were told at the Sovietsky ROVD (District Interior Division) of Makhachkala that Azamat Aliev was nor there; and they could not get through by phone to the Leninsky ROVD, the "Chernovik" reports.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that relatives have stated kidnappings of seven residents of Grozny.
