The military exercises of NATO’s member-countries and partners “Noble Partner” with the participation of over 2800 militaries from eight countries – Georgia, United States, Great Britain, Germany, Turkey, Slovenia, Armenia and Ukraine – are over in Georgia.

The third exercises of this sort ever began on July 30 and were visited by US Vice-President Mike Pence.

The exercises took place at Vaziani military aerodrome near Tbilisi and at a training base in Norio, the “News-Georgia” reports.

At the closing ceremony thereof, Levan Izoriya, the Georgia’s Defence Minister, said that in late August, Georgia and the USA will start the programme of Georgia's defence readiness. The programme will include tactical training and institutional development, the "Georgia-Online" reports.

Let us remind you that Georgia is actively working to integrate into the NATO. The exercises with the participation of NATO's militaries were important for the adaptation of Georgian soldiers to the standards of the Alliance, said the Georgian military experts, interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot".

During the years of Georgia's participation in operations under the NATO’s aegis, more than 30 Georgian soldiers perished. Besides, tens millions US dollars were spent on keeping soldiers in operation venues.
