Families with many children demand from Sochi Mayor's Office to provide access to their land
In Sochi, participants of the gathering have claimed that members of the families with many children have to wade and overcome the Kudepsta River to reach the land plots allocated to them by the Mayor's Office in 2016. According to the claimants, they cannot start the construction of houses on the land plots because of the absence of the access road.
According to organizers of the gathering, on November 12, the action was attended by about 150 people.
In his conversation with the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, Vladimir Plishkin said that members of the families with many children spent five years waiting for allocation of the land plots.
According to Vladimir Plishkin, officials wanted to allocate to the families with many children the landslide areas in the Lazarevskoe District of Sochi, "in an unreachable place." However, after the families with many children refused those land plots, they were provided with land in the Adler District of Sochi.
The participants of the gathering report that in total, the land plots were allocated to 107 families with many children. Meanwhile, according to the activists, "all land plots are covered by wild grass and are actually inaccessible."
Several participants of the gathering added that they had been refused in building permits.
The participants of the gathering decided to appeal to the Prosecutor with a complaint about the Sochi administration's failure to fulfil the conditions of the agreement.
Sochi Mayor Anatoly Pakhomov has reported that "no funds are still expected to be allocated from the budget for the improvement of access to the land plots of the families with many children."
