Yerevan: relative of one of capturers of police building detained

Ani Navasardyan, a participant of activists' clashes with the police in Yerevan, has been detained today by power agents. The woman is a cousin of one of the capturers of the building of the patrol-and-guard regiment of the police.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that members of the "Constituent Parliament" are keeping the above building in Yerevan; and only today they released all the policemen-hostages.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has learnt about Ani Navasardyan's detention from the advocate Stepan Voskanyan. According to his story, the decision on the measure of her freedom restraint will be taken within two days.

The woman has in fact refused to testify, said the advocate. She has just shown the traces of her bodily injuries and said that she had received them during clashes with the police.

Ms Navasardyan is a cousin of Smbat Barsegyan, who is among the capturers of the police building, the advocate has added.

Ani Navasardyan was an active participant of the protest actions held by rebels' supporters and took part in negotiations with the police, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
