School building burned down in Dagestani village

Last night, in the village of Djuli of the Tabasaran District, unidentified persons set fire to an empty school building and robbed a shop. This was reported by sources from the law enforcement bodies. According to them, the attacks involved militants.

"Unidentified persons set fire to the old empty school building. This was presumably committed by the militants of the 'Southern' criminal grouping," the RIA "Novosti" quotes a source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan as reporting.

During the fire, the old building of the school was burned down. Fire-fighters have managed to defend another, new building of the school, the "Interfax-South" reports with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan.

According to the source, the same people, who set fire to the school building, made several shots from firearms and then robbed the village shop located not far from the school.

"The attacks presumably involved militants. According to eyewitnesses, they wore camouflage uniform," notes a source. According to him, law enforcers are engaged in identification of criminals.
