Two mountain districts of Dagestan put under CTO regime

Power agents have begun searching for members of illegal armed formations (IAFs) and their helpers in the Botlikh and Khunzakh Districts of Dagestan, said the spokesman of the republic's operative headquarters.

According to his story, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced at 4:00 a.m. Moscow time within the whole territory of the Botlikh and Khunzakh Districts.

"A complex of special operative activities is underway to establish those associated with the bandit underground," the "Interfax-South" quotes the source as saying.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the last time the introduction of the CTO regime in Dagestan was reported on March 2. Then, power agents conducted a CTO in the Derbent District. Local residents reported that they experienced no problems because of the CTO regime.
