For two months, 16 law enforcers were killed or wounded in Northern Caucasus

Starting from August 2015, in Dagestan, according to the "Caucasian Knot" data, three law enforcers were killed, and five others were wounded. During the same period, in Chechnya, one law enforcer was killed, and seven others were wounded.

On October 10, in the village of Gimry of the Untsukul District of Dagestan, an FSB special fighter, engaged in the special operation, was killed. The special operation ended with the killing of three suspected members of the armed underground.

On October 8, three law enforcers were wounded during a special operation in Grozny. According to the Chechen authorities, three militants were killed as a result of the special operation.

On the same day, near the village of Kvanada in the Tsumada District of Dagestan, unidentified attackers opened fire on a car with policemen. As a result, a policeman got a severe gunshot wound.

On September 14, near the village of Maidanovsky of the Untsukul District of Dagestan, policemen stopped a car to check the documents. The driver approached one of the policemen, stabbed him and run away.

On August 24, an OMON (riot police) fighter was wounded in a special operation near the village of Novy Khushet of Makhachkala, in which three suspected militants were killed.

On August 22, in the same village, an OMON fighter and his family members were attacked by unidentified gunmen. As a result, a son of the OMON fighter and a relative, who was a policeman, were killed. The OMON fighter himself was hospitalized in serious condition.

Besides, on August 17, in the village of Novy Khushet, a police officer was shot dead in his office. According to investigators, he was shelled from at least two submachine guns. Then, in the village, law enforcers detained local residents en mass.

On August 21, two Chechen policemen were wounded during a special operation in Khasavyurt. Law enforcers tried to detain the wanted Ali Demilkhanov.

At night of August 11, a fighter of the special division of the internal troops was wounded in the village of Gimry of the Untsukul District of Dagestan. During the special operation, according to the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), four members of the armed underground were killed.

On August 9, three soldiers were blown up on a mine in the mountains of the Achkhoi-Martan District of Chechnya. One of them was killed, and two others were wounded.
