In Volgograd, mothers of large families report on officials' failure to fulfil their demands
On October 13, Nadezhda Kireeva, Olga Eshenko, and Olga Stepanova, three mothers of large families, spent two hours standing on the stairs of the building of the government of the Volgograd Region, demanding a meeting with the Governor. After their action, the women discussed the problems at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection for the Volgograd Region. However, they are dissatisfied with the results of the meeting, and they intend to continue protesting.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that starting from September 30, in Volgograd, mothers of many children keep standing in front of the building of the Volgograd Region Administration, demanding a meeting with the Governor.
Olga Eshenko and Nadezhda Kireeva were standing on the stairs of the building of the government of the Volgograd Region in T-shirts with the slogans reading: "Mothers of large families are asking for Governor's help" and "Homeless families with many children in great Russia".
"Officials of the Volgograd Region have promised us to solve our housing problems when we were on the first and second hunger strikes. However, our problems are still not solved. It turns out that the government has deceived us," Olga Eshenko has told the "Caucasian Knot".
