Power agents report liquidation of militants' leader Magomedali Vagabov in Dagestan

Leader of militants Magomedali Vagabov, who is regarded by power agencies to be the organizer of the March terror acts in Moscow metro, is dead, as reported by a source from power structures of the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD).

"As a result of a multi-step special operation conducted in Gunib village we manage to liquidate Magomedali Vagabov, the leader of Dagestan bandit underground," said the source and added that Vagabov for more than two years managed to escape chasing.

The operation in Gunib, in which Vagabov was killed, was conducted by employees of the special-purpose centre of the FSB, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan, Magomedali Vagabov was the leader of the Gubden grouping of militants of Dagestan, which is about 40 persons strong.
