In Georgia, author of film about war in South Ossetia is "the Person of the Year"

On the outcomes of the polling held by the Public Broadcaster of Georgia, Andrei Nekrasov, author of the film about the Russian-Georgian war entitled "Lessons of Russian" was recognized as "the Person of the Year" in Georgia.

On December 31, 2009, Giya Chanturiya, Director General of the Georgian Public Broadcaster, rewarded Andrei Nekrasov with a diploma, miniature "Golden Tbilisi" and conveyed gratitude on behalf of the Georgian people, as the "Georgia Online" writes.

The "Lessons of Russian" is on the armed conflict in South Ossetia in August 2008 and was filmed before, during and after the 2008 August war.

The "Kasparov.Ru" notes that the commission of the European Union in charge of investigating the circumstances of the Russian-Georgian "five-day war" has requested the film for examination as documentary evidence.
